Context
CODAP is an association offering sports activities for seniors in Lyon. The association has over 1,000 members and organizes several hundred activities each year.
The association has several tools at its disposal for management purposes: a database for managing members and activities, and a website for general communication and activity registration.
The main problem was that the two systems were not connected, so data exchange was carried out manually via file imports.
Objectives
- Develop an all-in-one platform:
- a website dedicated to members for following CODAP news and, above all, joining and registering for activities,
- an online administration interface for comprehensive management of the association.
- Create a new design.
- Design a simple interface to facilitate interactions.
Results
For members:
The creation of a new website with a completely revamped graphic identity. A simplified interface, allowing users to:
- join the association
- sign up for activities
- pay online
For association managers:
The creation of an administration interface tailored to the association's needs. This new management tool is directly connected to the website, allowing for instant data exchange.
The migration to this new site after more than 10 years of operating the previous version was a success and was greatly appreciated by members.
